HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACLUAR 2009

I made Cali's costume this year, she makes a beautiful Cinderella!
We took her to the Largo Halloween Spooktacular, she had a ton of fun & we got many compliments!!!!

Belgium Goodies

    So yesterday we finally got the box of Belgium goodies that was sent home with Lambert in August! We got yummy Belgium waffles, cookies & chocolates! Cali finally got her 1st Birthday gifts - Flemish books, cd's, cards & clothes! I can not wait to go to Belgium and meet the rest of the family. If I could get on a plane tomorrow and go, I would be packing now! Hopefully we will be over there soon!

Crocheting

So 2 nights ago I had an urge to learn how to crochet, I didnt realize how addicting it was going to be! Its so relaxing & I can wait to learn more patterns so I can make Cali blankets, shoes, & more!

FLUFFY BUTTS :o)

So thanks to Cali, I am quite creative & crafty! When Cali was about 4 months old she kept breaking out in diaper rash & the only real solution to fixing it was making the switch to cloth diapers! Who would have thought I can make my own and sell them too!


I recently started making baby legs & handbands & clothes! More pictures coming soon!

NEW FAMILY ADDITION

Finally the news is out, IM GOING TO BE AN AUNT! Im overly joyed and can’t wait to get my hands on the new baby! Baby Ades will be here in April. Looks like Cali and I will be traveling a lot more often than we do now! I hope to be there for the baby shower & the birth, and a long stay afterwards so I can help with whatever needs to get done, although it will be tough since I will just want to sit and hold baby!

Broken Ankle!

So on August 24, 2009…I broke my ankle!



The day started out like an ordinary day, but this day was Cali’s gymnastics session day, which we look forward to all week! We headed out and arrived safely but little did I know in about 30 minutes I was going to have a broken ankle!


Mic decided that he was going to get on the built in the floor trampoline as I was getting off. There is about a 5 to 7 inch difference between the spring floor & trampoline, as I was bouncing my way off with Cali, BAM Mic jumps on and SNAP, there goes my ankle!

I didnt cry until after I was in the ambulance because I didnt want to scare all the little babies! On site they gave me 2 shots of morphine, that did NOTHING! I thought morphine was suppose to help take the pain away? I must be pain med resistant, because even the vicodin barely took the pain away!

Now Im wearing a sweet boot for about 3 or 4 weeks! Mic feels extremely bad, he kept saying “Im such an idiot!”
